AEGON Religare launches 'Nominee Card' for e-sales customers

Private insurer AEGON Religare Life Insurance today launched a 'Nominee Card' for its e-sales customers to help simplify the claims process for nominees.

"We believe in customer centricity and, therefore, have extended this card to our customers to make sure they do not face any hassles when filing a claim. Instead of searching for the policy document, this card could prove helpful at the time of claim intimation," AEGON Religare Life Insurance COO Yateesh Srivastava said in a release.

The barcode given on the card will route the customer to our website, providing a simple way to make claims, he added.

The card contains a toll-free number of the claims centre as well as the policy details necessary to file a claim, the statement said.

AEGON Religare Life Insurance is a joint venture between international life insurance, pension and investment company AEGON, financial services group Religare and India's largest media house Bennett, Coleman & Company.
