AFI to hold selection trials for Asian Youth Games

Athletics Federation of India will conduct a selection trial in Thiruvananthapuram on July 26 to pick the team to take part in the 2nd Asian Youth Games to be held at Nanjing, China, from August 15 to 24.
Around 30 youth boys and girls (under-18) from across the country are currently in a coaching camp which commenced last month at SAI Centre, Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education (LNCPE) in Thiruvananthapuram.
Eleven athletes from the above camp have already taken part in the World Youth Championships held at Donetsk, Ukraine, recently.
