After the first two phases of polling, it appears that the BJP will cross the 300-mark on its own in the Lok Sabha, Union minister Prakash Javadekar said Thursday.
He said the opposition parties have already started preparing ground for their "certain defeat".
"After the second phase of polling, the BJP is getting very positive feedbacks. From the first two phases of polling, it appears that BJP will cross 300 on its own. The way incidents of violence were reported from Bengal, it shows that opposition is in shambles and the BJP is gaining grounds there as well," he said.
"The way all opposition parties gathered in Delhi after the first phase of polling it was quite clear they were preparing a ground for their certain defeat," Javadekar said, referring to the presser of 21 parties in which they raised concerns over EVMs or voting machines.
