Atwell, 32, brings her 'Captain America: The First Avenger' character to the small screen with a two-hour premiere of the series starting next month, reported People magazine.
Dominic Cooper also reprises his role from the film as Howard Stark, father of Tony, and James D'Arcy, Bridget Regan and Shea Whigham will also star in the show.
The series has already been teased during 'Agents of SHIELD' and other clips have been aired on ABC in the last few months.
'Agents of SHIELD' will take a hiatus during the airing of 'Agent Carter's eight episodes.
