Agents damage furniture at market yard over online tendering

A group of commission agents and their employees today allegedly vandalised some furniture at a market yard here over introduction of online system for tenders and others, police said.
Some flower pots weer also damaged in the incident.
As per Centre's instructions, the market federation has brought new norms, including introduction of online system, to eliminate commission agents, they said.
The commission agents and their employees were angry over losing their grip, according to police.
A case of damage to public property is being registered, police added.
