Ruling AIADMK today took a swipe at DMK Rajya Sabha MP and party chief M Karunanidhi's daughter Kanimozhi, asking what kind of achievements her party would tell people when cadres meet them for the upcoming Assembly polls.
"Is it about the corruption in all spheres? Or is it about propagating till Tihar jail the pride of Dravidian politics? Or is it about the betrayal over river water issues like Cauvery and Mullaiperiyar?" a write-up in AIADMK mouthpiece Dr Namadhu MGR asked.
It was referring to Kanimozhi's appeal that the electorate should be apprised about achievements of the DMK by going from door-to-door and also to Kanimozhi's incarceration in Tihar jail in the 2G spectrum scam case.
Caricaturing DMK chief Karunanidhi, the AIADMK ridiculed him for repeatedly asking other political parties to join his party-led front for the Assembly polls. The cartoon said no party was willing to join the DMK-led front.

Meanwhile, a resolution adopted at an AIADMK agriculture
wing meet here today hit out at Karunanidhi for "mortgaging" the state's rights over Cauvery and Mullaperiyar issues. It praised Chief Minister Jayalalithaa for securing the rights over such issues for Tamil Nadu.
The meet also thanked her for allocating Rs.25,583 crore in the past nearly five years for the agriculture sector and for granting subsidies for small and tiny farmers.
The meeting resolved to celebrate the 68th birthday of Jayalalithaa in a grand manner on February 24 for 'removing the anguish of farmers.
