AICC announces new office bearers of OPCC

A team of new office bearers of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) was announced by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) today, comprising 10 vice-presidents, 25 general secretaries, five political secretaries, 55 secretaries and 37 organising secretaries.
The appointment of new presidents in as many as 11 organisational districts of the party in the state has also been approved, according to a statement released by AICC here.
The state unit is headed by Prasad Harichandan and the new set-up is to strengthen the party organisation in the state, struggling to restore its political fortune in Odisha.
The vice presidents include names such as Bijayalaxmi Sahu, Judhisthir Jena, Ranjib Biswal and Suresh Mohapatra.

All the vice presidents, general secretaries and political secretaries shall be made members of the executive committee, the statement said.
