Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) has been granted approval to increase the batch size of its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PRM) by 60 seats, an institute official said.
The approval was granted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on March 19, which would come into effect from the academic year 2013-14 (from June this year), an institute official said.
The existing seat capacity for the PRM programme, run by IRMA since 1980, is around 120 seats, an institute official said adding that the move would open more opportunities for candidates.
