AIDS patient commits suicide in West Bengal

Depressed over HIV/AIDS infection, a man today committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree at Thapur village in Nadia, police said.
33-year-old Sanjay Dutta, a resident of Kotoali Gobraponta, Nadia was found hanging from a tree and his body was recovered this morning, they said.
His father, Paresh Dutta said, "Sanjay was in mental depression after he found out about the disease and this might have led him to take the extreme step."
A case has been registered and the body has been sent for autopsy, police said.
