AIDSO demands scrapping of the semester-oriented CBCS

The All India Democratic Students' Organisation on Tuesday demanded scrapping of the semester-oriented Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) in the Calcutta University and called for finding a solution to the present impasse over attendance.

In a letter to the Vice Chancellor of Calcutta University, Sonali Chakraborty Banerjee, the AIDSO said due to "illogical rule in attendance of the CBCS system, thousands of students are facing difficult situations in their colleges."
