AICC General Secretary and former Union Minister V Narayanasamy has charged the AINRC government with having failed to address woes of people and tackling the 'financial crisis' and claimed Congress would form the next government in the union territory.
Talking to reporters at his residence after new PCC chief A Namassivayam, MLA,called on him on the eve of taking charge, he said people are convinced that the government had not been able to deliver the goods in the last four years. The Union Territory was also faced with a 'critical' financial situation, he said.
Workers and employees in Public Sector Undertakings here were awaiting disbursement of monthly wages, he said.
Narayanasamy said Chief Minister Rangasamy had promised on several occasions that the government would get a positive response from the Centre to its plea for waiver of loans accumulated over the years. But nothing had happened so far.
He claimed that Congress would form the next government after the assemblyy polls in 2016 here.
