Canada-headquartered CAE is a leading provider of training solutions based on simulation technology.
The national carrier today entered into an agreement with CAE for procuring '7000 XR series Level 'D' A320 Full Flight Simulator'. It would be for the national carrier's central training establishment at Hyderabad and the same would be delivered in the first quarter of 2016.
In a statement, Air India said the simulator with a state-of-the-art all-electric motion system provides more accurate and authentic cues for pilot training.
"The full flight simulator will be installed at the central training establishment along with the existing two A320 simulators," it added.
