Kajol, along with her actor husband Ajay, visited her mother and veteran actress Tanuja who has been living in Lonavala and working for the cause of development of the hill stations.
"I used to come here regularly when I was kid. It was a very beautiful place....Lonavala that I see today is not necessarily better. I do feel progress is necessary to grow, it is the way forward, but it should be done with responsibility," Kajol said.
Recalling her memories as kid, Kajol said she learnt cycling and trekking in Lonavala while Ajay revealed that he too visit the place with his friends often without the knowledge of his parents.
Tanuja, last seen on silver screen in 'Son of Sardar', has been pursuing the cause of making Lonavala and Khandala more beautiful.
