AK-56 rifle, ammunition recovered
recovered an AK-56 rifle, 24 live AK ammunition and two radio sets from Kaki Reserve Forest areas near Jilangso weekly market in Karbi Anglong district, police said.
On specific information, a joint team of Assam police and Army launched a search operation and found the arms by digging ground inside the forest.
A case has been registered in this regard, police added.
