This year, 60 rookies and seasoned drivers are competing against each other for the coveted title.
Chennai lad Vishnu (Team Meco Racing) took the chequered flag, followed by Ajay Kini from Chennai (Team Dark Don Racing who finished second. Rohit Khanna from delhi, who had started from 10th place, finished third.
Vishnu continued his dominance in the second race as well. The surprise element was Raghul Rangaswamy from Chennai (Meco Racing) who leaped ahead from fourth place and finished second. Karthik Shankar from New Delhi representing AM Avalanche Racing finished third.
It was a fight for the second position as Dhruv Mohite who started from fourth place raced past other drivers and finished second.
Making a shift from the Polo series, the Volkswagen Vento Cup put up a fantastic ride along the track. The 22 driver grid showcased an action packed race day with experienced Sailesh Bolisetti from Vishakhapatnam dominating the 15 laps and taking the chequered flag.
