Akhilesh directs official to start Dial 100 project from Oct 2

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today directed the officials to start the state-wide Dial 100 project from October 2, this year.
Akhilesh said, the project aims at reducing response time of the police and the focus is to develop it as the fastest, cheapest, sturdiest and best project, according to a release.
He said this at a meeting to review the progress made in the project.
Yadav said that he will attend the launch of the project in Varanasi, Agra, Ghaziabad, Jhansi and Lucknow, release quoted him saying, adding instructions have been given to impart special training to police personnel involved with the project.
