Akshay is happy with recreation of 'Tu Cheez Badi Hai'

Director Abbas of the Abbas-Mustan duo says Akshay Kumar is happy that they are recreating "Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast" in an upcoming film.
Filmed on Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon, the '90s hit from "Mohra" will be recreated for "Machine", which marks the acting debut of Mustan's son Mustafa.
"Akshay is aware that we are recreating the song and he is okay with it. We need his blessings. He is our 'Khiladi'. He is very happy. He said he will come and launch the song as well," Abbas told reporters here at the trailer launch of the film.

Mustafa will be seen dancing with Kiara Advani in a modern version of the song.
"We are yet to shoot for the song. We are very excited. The song shouldn't be compared as it's difficult to get into Akshay Kumar's shoes. It's a small tribute to them," Mustafa said.
"We would most definitely want to show the song to them. The first people whose acceptance we want is of Raveena Tandon mam and Akshay Kumar sir," Kiara said.
The film is set to release on March 24.
