The 56-year-old actor and Greenwich Village resident was arrested yesterday after he was stopped at the corner of 16th Street and Fifth Avenue for biking against traffic, said The Hollywood Reporter.
When the police officers asked Baldwin to identify himself, he did not have any ID on him at the time.
NYPD detective Marc Nell said the actor, who can be seen being handcuffed by a police officer in some photos, had got a little "belligerent with the officers".
"He got a little belligerent with the officers, so they took him into custody to identify him. He was identified and given two summonses, and he is now on his merry way," Nell said.
