Alert guards foil robbery attempt, say police

Alert guards foiled a robbery attempt at a factory in sector 4 here, the police said.
According to officials, the guards at a factory, which manufactures brass parts, challenged the robbers and fired shots.
The robbers fled hearing the gunshots, the officials said.
In another incident, the body of a 22-year-old man was found at a residential society in sector 100.
The body of Sonu Sharma, which was found at the Lotus society, was sent for post-mortem to ascertain whether it was a natural death or murder, the police said.
The deceased was a worker at the society office, they said.
