The Allahabad High Courttoday granted bail to three junior engineers of the Noida authority, who were accused of fraud along with suspended chief engineer Yadav Singh.
The bench comprising Justice Ramesh Sinha and Justice DK Singh- l granted bail to the three junior engineers, identified as Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Ram Dutt Sharma and Sushil Kumar Agarwal.
However, the bench rejected the bail application of the managing director of Tripti Construction Private Limited, Vinod Kumar Goyal, one of the accused in the case.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had investigated the matter and submitted a charge sheet against these three junior engineers.
Criminal cases were registered against Singh and others on July 30, 2015 under sections 109 read with 120-B IPC (conspiracy) and 13 (2) and 13 (1) (e) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 registered with CBI, New Delhi.
