D K Garg has levelled corruption charges against GNIDA officials alleging he was asked to cough up money if he were to get the required approvals to run his institute.
"I am a victim of corruption and pressure tactics to extort money by the officials and employees of GNIDA. They used to force us to go to court even for petty matters so that the case can go on for years," said Garg.
"Under tremendous psychological, social and economical pressures due to these corrupt officials of GNIDA, I will be forced to terminate my life," he said.
GNIDA CEO Deepak Aggarwal, meanwhile, denied the allegations and said the matter was being inquired and report will be submitted soon.
"Initial inquiry reveal the delay was due to institute as plan was changed and necessary fees and documents were not submitted with applications," said Aggarwal.
