She may be best known for judging other people's talent these days, but Amanda Holden will take to the stage herself this winter when she plays The Fairy Godmother in "Cinderella."
The "Britain's Got Talent" panellist takes on the magical role for five weeks at the London Palladium from Friday, December 9, 2016 to Sunday, January 15, 2017, reported Digital Spy.
"I cannot wait to spread my Fairy Godmother dust over the festive season in this huge production at one of the most iconic theatres in the world," Amanda said.
"It's an absolute honour to have been asked. I'm very excited - but nothing like my two girls, who can't wait to watch their Mama fly!"
The Fairy Godmother role is a character sidestep for Amanda, who played Cinders herself for a BGT promo earlier this year.
She joins an all-star cast, with Paul O'Grady as The Wicked Stepmother, Julian Clary as Dandini, Lee Mead as Prince Charming, Paul Zerdin as Buttons, Nigel Havers as Lord Chamberlain and Count Arthur Strong as Baron Hardup.
"Cinderella" is produced by Nick Thomas and Michael Harrison for Qdos Entertainment, directed by Michael Harrison and co-directed and choreographed by Andrew Wright.
It's designed by Ian Westbrook with costume designs for Paul O'Grady and Julian Clary by Hugh Durrant.
