Amandeep grabs lead on Day 1

Amandeep Drall carded a one-under 71 to take the lead on the first day of the Hero Women's Professional Golf Tour at the Kensville Golf and Country Club here today.
Trailing her in second position is Smriti Mehra with a score of one-over 73. The Rs 6,00,000 event will culminate on January 27.
Gurgaon's Gaurika Bishnoi and Chandigarh's Saaniya Sharma were tied third with identical scores of two-over 74. Delhi's Mehar Atwal and Kolkata's Neha Tripathi are tied fifth with identical scores of four-over 76.
Amateur Sifat Alag took the seventh position with a score of six over 78, followed by Kapurthala's Gursimar Badwal in eighth position with a score of eighth over 80.
