Amarinder's assets have doubled since 2012

A residential flat in Dubai and his ancestral Moti Bagh palace were among the assets worth Rs86.33 crore declared today by Congress candidate from Amritsar Amarinder Singh in his poll affidavit.
The value of the former Punjab Chief Minister's assets has doubled since the last assembly elections in 2012.
Amarinder declared his movable and immovable assets including that of his spouse at Rs 5.37 crore and Rs 80.96 crore respectively.
Amarinder had declared his total assets including that of his spouse Union minister Preneet Kaur at Rs 45.74 crore during 2012 assembly polls in Punjab.
Among immovable assets, the market value of palatial Moti Bagh palace spread over 160 bighas in Patiala doubled to Rs 71.30 crore.

Former Punjab Chief Minister has also declared a residential flat in Dubai 'Goldcreet Views Jit' UAE at Rs 96 lakh. Bought in 2008, the value of this flat was declared at Rs 80 lakh during last polls.
Having a cash balance of Rs one lakh, Amarinder who passed NDA in December 1962 owns a Toyota Fortuner valued at Rs 22.60 lakh while his spouse has an Innova valued at Rs 11.44 lakh.
Amarinder owns gold jewellery with precious stones worth Rs 70 lakh.

He had declared himself as politician in affidavit and has shown liabilities amounting to Rs 42 lakh.
