"The party high command had snubbed Amarinder repeatedly by refusing to give Rajya Sabha tickets to his nominees, not releasing the new organisation team submitted by him since two months and even not anointing him as the party's chief ministerial candidate," SAD General Secretary Daljit Singh Cheema said in a statement here.
A high-level meeting held by Punjab Congress yesterday to discuss wheat procurement issue was boycotted by senior leaders, including Partap Bajwa, Rajinder Kaur Bhattal and Shamsher Singh Dullo, he said.
"Congress seems to be virtually folding up in the state," Cheema alleged.
