Acting on a complaint, a Vigilance Investigation Bureau (VIB) team led by the DSP Gopal Paswan laid a trap and arrested Ashok Yadav, posted as Amin in Dih panchayat, from his house in Nauladih village as soon as he took Rs. 10,000 in bribe from one Jitendra Prasad, Paswan said.
Yadav had demanded a bribe of Rs. 30,000 from Prasad for measurement of his land, but settled at Rs. 10,000 to get the job done, he said.
The tainted Amin was being brought to the state capital for interrogation and production before a designnated vigilance court for judicial remand, the DSP added.
