Amtek Auto skids nearly 7 pc on disappointing March qtr nos

Shares of auto component maker Amtek Auto today slumped nearly 7 per cent after the company reported a net loss of Rs 528.69 crore for the March quarter.
The stock slipped 6.78 per cent to settle at Rs 32.30 on BSE. During the day, it tumbled 7.35 per cent to Rs 32.10.
At NSE, shares of the firm plunged 6.62 per cent to close at Rs 32.40.
On the volume front, 7.98 lakh shares of the company were traded at BSE and over 24 lakh shares changed hands at NSE during the day.
Amtek Auto yesterday reported a net loss of Rs 528.69 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016, hit by decline in sales.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 129.82 crore in the same quarter in the previous fiscal, Amtek Auto had said in a BSE filing yesterday.
Income from operations stood at Rs 608.75 crore as compared with Rs 908.09 crore in the corresponding period previous fiscal, down 32.96 per cent.
