Dylan Minnette stars in the adaptation of RL Stine as a teen who has to save his new town from the creepy creations of an author (Black) who lives next door, reported The Wrap.
Ryan has been cast as Minnette's on-screen mother and Bell will play his aunt.
'Goosebumps' is being produced by Neal H Moritz of the 'Fast and the Furious' franchise.
The project has been in development for the past six years.
Stine's children's book series originally ran from 1992 to 1997, and has previously been adapted into an anthology television series.
