Andhra Bank One-UPI App aims at creating less cash and more digital-driven society, the Goverment-run lender said in a statement here.
The bank partnered with National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to introduce Unified Payments Interface (UPI) app in the first phase, it said.
The app allows customers to send or receive money using Virtual Payment Address (VPA) and without providing IFSC and bank account details, the statement explained.
The mobile solution offers seamless and secure financial transaction facility between different bank accounts through single application on 24x7 basis. It is available only to Android smartphone users and is available on Google Playstore for download, it added.
