The 26-year-old actress checked into the clinic on Friday to begin a court-ordered 90-day stay, reported Contactmusic.
In a TV chat show with her mother Dina, Andy reached out and suggested he should take a trip to her rehab to spend time with Lohan.
Andy, who is battling with sobriety after 13 rehab efforts, was a guest on US news show when Dina Lohan phoned in to talk about her daughter's latest rehab.
"I'm gonna visit her, by the way, if she asks. Lindsay's scared because it's just scary to be taken away from family and your friends, but Lindsay knows how it is, it's gonna be fine, and Betty Ford is, like, the best," Andy said.
