Union Home Secretary designate Anil Goswami would make a second visit here tomorrow within a week and meet West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
There is speculation that there could be a discussion with the chief minister on availability of central para-military forces for the panchayat elections in the state.
Goswami, the OSD under MHA, during an earlier visit on June 20 had met Governor M K Narayanan.
During his earlier meeting he had met top state officials and discussed internal and coastal security, border guarding, circulation of fake currency and modernisation of police infrastructure.
