Another reshuffle in IAS, IPS officers in WB

The West Bengal government today reshuffled the IAS and IPS cadre in the state for the second time, cancelling the reshuffle of six IAS officers made yesterday and gave them new assignments.
Two other IAS officers and 12 of the IPS cadre were also transferred.
Jalpaiguri District Magistrate Pritha Sarkar has now been sent as Additional Secretary to the Health and Family welfare department and Hooghly DM Mukta Arya posted in her place.
In Hooghly the new DM will be Sanjay Bansal who was with the personnel and administrative reforms department.
Housing department's principal secretary Subrata Biswas was sent to co-operation department.
Health and family welfare department secretary Onkar Singh Meena will now look after municipal affairs department with additional charge of health.
Among the IPS officers, ADG (administration) P Nirajnayan was transferred as director of civil defence in place of Gangeswar Singh who was sent as ADG (IB).
ADG (telecommunication) Adhir Sharma will be the new ADG (Railways) in place of Mrityunjay Kumar Singh who was sent as ADG (provisioning).
Dr Sudhir Mishra will be the new ADG (admin) while ADG (CID) Ram Phal Pawar has been moved to the anti-corruption bureau in the same rank.
IPS officer Tapas Kumar Das will be the new DIG (CID).
Debasish Boral, joint commissioner of police (crime), and Nagendra Nath Tripathi, deputy commissioner II (detective department), have been sent on compulsory waiting.
Neelo Sherpa has been sent in place of Tripathi.
