Sharma filed the bail plea before the Indora circuit bench of additional district and sessions court on November 16. The court had earlier rejected the bail pleas of three other HPCA officials - treasurer Attar Singh Negi, vice-president Surender Thakur and joint secretary Prem Thakur -- in the same case.
Police sources said all the four HPCA officials had gone into hiding to avoid arrest.
The Himachal Pradesh State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau had registered a case against HPCA on August 1 on charges of cheating and misappropriation over alleged wrong-doing in allotment of land in Dharamsala.
