Astrid will hold talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and other senior leaders in the government.
The delegation will visit Mumbai and Chennai and meet business leaders to explore new areas of trade.
The visit by the Princess follows President Pranab Mukherjee's trip to Brussels last month.
The bilateral trade between Belgium and India stands at 12.15 billion Euros in 2012.
Both the sides are likely to discuss ways to boost cooperation in areas such as science and technology, nuclear energy.
Mukherjee, during his visit to Brussels, had sought Belgium's support for India's bid to become a full member of four major arms control regimes.
