The ACB's Central Investigation Unit conducted searches at 10 places including Vijayawada, Tirupati, Hyderabad and unearthed property in the name of G Muni Venkata Narayana, a Joint Director in the Commissionerate of Employment and Training and his family members, an ACB release said.
At least 10 house plots, seven flats, agricultural land, 899 grams of gold, 3.5 kgs of silver and cars were among the items unearthed during searches, said the release.
Besides, cash of over Rs 26 lakh, including Rs 22 lakh in new Rs 2000 notes, was also found. Promissory notes for Rs 2.65 crore and a bank balance of Rs 25 lakh too were detected, the ACB said.
