AP CM, Singapore team conducts aerial survey of capital region

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Singapore's Home, Commerce and Industries Minister S Iswaran and a team of Singaporean technical experts today conducted an aerial survey of the proposed capital city region here.
They interacted with industrialists at Visakhapatnam and flew directly to the capital city region on a special flight, officials said.
After the aerial survey, they landed at Gannavaram airport where several Andhra Pradesh ministers including Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao, P Narayana, K Ravindra, MPs K Srinivas and K Narayana besides District Collector A Babu as well as other officials gave them a grand reception, they said.

Singapore minister Iswaran expressed satisfaction with his tour and said that a world class capital city would be constructed within a short time.
He also greeted the people of Andhra Pradesh on the occasion of Sankranti (Pongal).
Some local businessmen and industrialists brought their proposals and business plans to the AP CM.
