"It was already decided to invite Prime Minister for the foundation stone laying ceremony of state capital on October 22.
"On the same day, in addition to capital city, the cabinet decided to invite the Prime Minister for inauguration of Polavaram project construction works. Polavaram project is the lifeline of Andhra Pradesh," state Labour Minister K Atchannaidu told reporters here after a meeting of the state cabinet.
In another decision, the cabinet urged the Centre and Lok Sabha Speaker to install a statue of Alluri Sitarama Raju, a famed freedom fighter who waged a sensational fight against the British in Visakhapatnam region, in the premises of Parliament complex.
