AP to waive Rs 110-cr loans of over 25,000 weavers

Andhra Pradesh government today decided to waive loans taken by over 25,000 weavers amounting to a total of more than Rs 110 crore.
The state Cabinet took the decision at a meeting here this evening.
The loan waiver will benefit 25,567 weavers in the state, state information minister Palle Raghunath Reddy told reporters.
