An online application submission system has been developed by NIC and trial is being run successfully here for the last 15 days, Regional Transport Officer Vijaypal Singh said today.
The whole project would start at seven divisional offices in Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, Bharatpur and Bikaner this month, he said.
The application form would be available online for learning and permanent driving license, registration certificate of vehicles, address change, No Objection Certificate and related purposes with no additional charge, the Regional Transport Officer said.
Till now the transport department's divisional offices were linked with internal server. This new system would bring more transparency and accountability of the department, Singh added.
