Documentary on popular Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire, "The Reflektor Tapes," will hit the theatres in September this year.
The debut date of the project helmed by celebrated music video director Kahlil Joseph was announced via launch of a Tumblr page dedicated to the film, reported Variety.
The band simultaneously released a new music video that is also the trailer for the documentary.
Joseph and his team were spotted filming portions of the band's "Reflektor" tour last year.
According to the release the film "will be a unique cinematic experience, meeting at the crossroads of documentary, music, art and personal history."
Arcade Fire won the Grammy for Album of the Year at the 2011 awards for "The Suburbs".
