Prasad shot 67 today to go with his first round 66.
The winner of the Faldo Series Grand Finals Asia, Prasad struck a purple patch midway through the round after starting from the 10th. He birdied the 15th, 16th and 18th and followed up with a birdie on first and an eagle on second. His only bogey of the day was on fourth.
Two other Indians -- Abhijit Chadha (67-67) and Sujjan Singh (68-66) -- were tied-17th as was Indo-Swede Daniel Chopra (67-67) at 10-under.
Manu Gandas (67-71) was tied-48th at six-under and five others -- Aman Raj, Udayan Mane, M Dharma, Ashok Kumar and Ajeetesh Sandhu -- were tied-66th at five-under for two rounds.
Gaurav Pratap Singh, Khalin Joshi, C Muniyappa, Veer Ahlawat, Honey Baisoya and Deepinder Kullar missed the cut as top-100 and tied will play the final two rounds.
