Army Chief to visit South Western Command Hqrs on Mar 8-9

Army Chief Gen Bikram Singh would be on a two-day visit to South Western Command headquarters here on March 8 and 9.
During the visit, the Army Chief will be briefed about the operational preparedness and ongoing issues pertaining to the Command.
He will also take stock of the progress of infrastructure projects of the Command and meet senior military officials, according to defence spokesperson S D Goswami.
Earlier, Singh was scheduled to address an ex-servicemen rally at Nagaur on March 8, but it was postponed yesterday "due to certain unforeseen commitments", he added.
