The college was accorded the approval by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for the Lama (Cheetah), Alouette (Chetak) and Dhruv helicopters.
Lt Gen Gurmukh Singh, Commandant, MCEME and Colonel Commandant, Corps of EME, received the accreditation certificate from Surender Toppo, Deputy Director (Air Worthiness), DGCA Hyderabad, in a ceremony held at the college, an official release said here today.
Over the years, MCEME has grown into a premier training institution of the Indian Army.
MCEME is affiliated to Hyderabad-JNTU and New Delhi's JNU for its M Tech, B Tech and Engineering Diploma programmes.
