Army jawan dies of gunshot wounds in Udhampur

An Army jawan died of gunshot injuries in an Army camp in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Naik Akhlesh Kumar of 51 Battalion died of gunshot wounds at the Army camp in Rambhel belt of the district last night, an Army official said today.
After hearing a gunshot, the 30-year old jawan's colleagues found him lying in a pool of blood with his service rifle lying close to him in the camp. He was shifted to hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
A court of inquiry has been ordered into the incidents, the Army official said, and also that police has also registered a case and started investigation into it.
