Army jawan kills four neighbours, shot dead by police

An army jawan today killed four of his neighbours in indiscriminate firing before he was shot dead by police at Hassanpur village in Sangrur district of Punjab.
Sangrur Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pritpal Singh Thind said the sepoy, who was on leave, entered into three houses in his neighbourhood and killed four people and injured four others by opening fire.
Later, police asked him to surrender but he did not heed the request and was shot dead by police.
