Army Major found dead in his room in Jammu

A senior Army officer, belonging to Delhi, was today found dead under mysterious circumstances in forward area along Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu district.
Major Raman Baghla, who was officiating Commandant, ADS Field Hospital, was found dead in his room in forward area of Pallanwala belt in the district, a Defence spokesperson said.
"Cause of death and other details are being ascertained," the spokesperson said, adding that a Court of Inquiry has been ordered.
Major Baghla was unmarried and police are probing whether he had committed suicide by hanging himself in the room.
