The tour, which was organised by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion based at Hanjanwali under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo) was flagged off by the Dean of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) Dr A K Kaul from Rajouri, a defence spokesman said here.
The aim of the tour is to provide exposure to modern industrial infrastructure of North India and self-employment opportunity options for enterprising youths, he said.
During the tour, the youths will get opportunity to visit numerous Small Scale Industries at Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Jaipur, he said.
The youths will also get opportunities to interact with the President of India and Governor of Rajasthan.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Kaul appreciated the Army's efforts in ensuring peace and progress of the state and said, this exposure would contribute in honing the personalities of these youth.
