"A medical camp was organised by 63 Rashtriya Rifle Battalion under aegis of Reasi-based Headquarters at remote village of Beena in Reasi district," Udhampur based defense spokesman Col S D Goswami said.
He said that the camp witnessed a huge response from the people of the area as people from adjacent villages also came to attend the camp which included prominent members of civil administration and number of Numbardar, Panchs and Sarpanchs.
He said that the patients were examined and the critical cases were referred to Community Health centre Kalakote for further treatment.
"The residents of the various villages expressed their gratitude towards Indian Army for taking care of the health of people who were badly affected by the recent heavy rainfall in the state," he said.
He said that the patients who were treated in the camp also requested to increase the frequency of such camps in the area.
