Referring to the terror attack on the BSF convoy on Jammu- Srinagar national highway in Udhampur in which Mohammed Naved, resident of Ghulam Mustafabad area in Faislabad town of Pakistan, was arrested Madhav said "it is unfortunate that two of our soldiers had to sacrifice their lives in saving the lives of others."
He, however, added that there is additional evidence in the form of the live terrorist, who by the media accounts, seems to be from Pakistan.
In yet another terror attack suspected to be originating from Pakistan left two BSF constables dead on the crucial Jammu-Srinagar highway today, but one of the two Lashker-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists involved was captured alive like Ajmal Kasab in the 2008 Mumbai terror strike.
The senior BJP leader also advocated for granting of citizenship to the persecuted minorities from both sides of the borders along with "erstwhile Pakistan territories".
"We expect the government to take some steps, some measures. We hope the government would do it to the extent of providing citizenship to those people, those persecuted minorities from erstwhile Pakistan on both sides of our country," the senior BJP leader said.
