Art show inaugurated

An Art show with traditional Thanjavur paintings on one side and contemporary Art and Sculptures on the other is providing a visual treat to the people thronging the ongoing Annual flower show.
Fortytwo senior and up and coming artists, including students from Mcgans Ooty School of Fashion Design, have expressed their skills on 216 canvases at the show, which will be open for public till May 31, a school release said today.
Tamil Nadu Minister for Art and Culture, K C Veeramani inaugurated the show, in the presence of Kalaipuli S Thanu, President of Tamil Film Producers' Council, it added.
